What a blessing it was today to deliver 10 Garden Box Kits to our local community. Each kit included a fir garden box, soil mixture, a strawberry plant, some tomato starts, a squash start and a variety of seeds. Six church members who are experienced gardeners volunteered to mentor 1-3 new gardeners who received the kits. This is our investment of increasing food security among our fellow community members, and helping more people develop sustainable food sources in their own yards. Together we grow!
